57% Support Obama on Iraq Withdrawal (IBOPE Zogby)

The poll finds 54% saying the decision to go to war in Iraq was not justified. It also shows majorities are concerned about possible negative outcomes happening after withdrawal from Iraq and the revolution in Libya.

Those opposed to Obamas decision on pulling troops from Iraq by years end are most likely to cite distrust of the President (70%) as a reason why.

On Afghanistan, 59% say a recent statement by President Hamid Karzai on his support for Pakistan over the U.S. causes them to favor a speedier U.S. troop departure than currently planned.
