Internships and Fellowships with ReThink Media.
ReThink Media works with the foremost think tanks, foundations, advocacy organizations and grassroots groups working in the fields of disarmament, nuclear nonproliferation, conflict prevention, international law, human rights and peace. Rethink Media's mission is to provide these organizations with access to state-of-the-art media technologies, expert communications and the latest in public opinion, media and messaging research.
ReThink Media’s paid Internship and Fellowship program provides talented undergraduate and graduate students in media, communications and journalism with hands-on experience in the burgeoning field of advocacy communications. Fellows and Interns get training and real-work experience in applying the latest media tools and strategies to existing campaigns and organizations as well as the opportunity to make professional contacts and be mentored by experienced professionals.
ReThink Media will begin recruiting applications for its Summer Media and Journalism Internship/Fellowship program beginning in May.

Meet ReThink Media's current Interns and Fellows
Dana Liebelson is an undergraduate at George Washington University, graduating this spring with a degree in International Affairs and Asian Studies. She is interested in both foreign affairs and journalism, and has written for the global magazine, Diplomatic Courier, the Washington City Paper, and for Cafe Abroad Magazine while studying in Melbourne, Australia. While in the District, she also interned for the non-profit organization, the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Her interests include human rights, women's rights and national security issues--particularly in Asia--and she spent last summer studying Mandarin in Harbin, China.
Amisha Patel graduated cum laude in 2008 from the University of California, San Diego, with a B.A. in Political Science (International Relations) and Communications. She has also studied at la Universidad Michoacana de S.N. Hidalgo in Mexico and la Universidad de Alcala in Spain. Her research interests include U.S. intelligence and security, U.S.-Middle East relations, child soldiers and the arms trade. Amisha previously interned at the Citizen Diplomacy Council of San Diego and Amnesty International USA, and has volunteered with Amnesty International’s UC San Diego chapter and with Cross Cultural Solutions among other organizations. She speaks fluent Gujarati and Spanish.
