Get your media work for 2008 off to a good start. Register Today for ReThink Media's online media skills training "Crafting News Angles & Successfully Pitching Reporters"

This 60 minute online training will take place on Tuesday, Feb 26, 2008 2PM (EST) /11AM (PST).

Training Description: The best ideas in the world don't get very far if policy makers and the public haven't heard of them. Gaining media coverage is critical to building support for your policy agenda, but it isn't easy. What makes a press release interesting to reporters? What makes an effective pitch call? What are the keys to pitching op-eds to opinion editors, pitching a story or a guest to a radio or TV producer or getting coverage on the release of your next report? Learn the answers to these questions from a recognized expert and submit your organization's upcoming press ideas for feedback and advice — 4-5 ideas will be chosen to include in the training.
